UniFor, a Molteni Group company specialised in solutions for the work environment, restyle the Touch Down Unit. A range of new finishes - specifically designed for home environment - are now available for this
innovative workstation, designed by Studio Klass. Unexpected events as we experienced first-hand in the past few weeks prompted us to hack our lifestyles and fundamentally change the way we work, connect with others, think of our home. We are discovering that working from home greatly impacts our productivity; the environment we are able to create brings real meanings to our collective work experience.
Touch Down Unit responds to this need, recreating in a contained space its own workstation even inside the home.
Touch Down Unit is an autonomous, discreet and multitasking workstation.
TDU allows you to work as a chair, sofa, stool, sofa, or standing, thus ensuring physical well-being and adapting to any space. A workstation from which you can use your laptop, recharge your electronic devices and at the same time a service module that, when closed, allows you to store your work items, thus ensuring domestic order.
The unit has a metal structure consisting of a base with a wired central upright fixed to it. The upright, in turn, also supports the structure of the worktop, which features vertical and horizontal positioning devices that allow the user to adjust the height and position of the worktop so that it is comfortable and ergonomic for every type of activity. The upright is also
equipped with a rechargeable battery, along with power and USB outlets for recharging electronic devices. To facilitate repositioning the workstation, the base is on retractable 360° swivel castors, while the central upright has a practical pull-out handle.
The worktop can be in wood, glass and laminate and is available in a range of different colours.
