This entire collection is inspired by travel and freedom: leave the city yearning behind and go to the vibrant African tropics! Geometric motifs on fabrics come to life before your eyes as you witness the intersection of many routes marked by a dotted line on a topographic map. You hear the invigorating accents of these nomadic artists who carry centuries of weaving and sculpture from the Showa and Yoruba tribes, but not shy away from the street art of contemporary Dakar. On the pages of our atlas, lazy walks under the sun give way to a swift flight to a fairyland, and compositions of one-color blocks are replaced by embroidery with a daring texture. However, they all have the same basis: the traditional fibers of flax, wool, cotton and jute. Their warm, fiery, earthy tones are close to those of the natural elements, and a vibrating emerald flows over them.
